Zero-waste

Zero waste pertains to “the conservation of all resources by means of responsible production, consumption, and reuse of products, packaging, and materials without burning and with no discharges to land, water, or air that threaten the environment or human health.”

Simply, it means that, for a company to reach zero-waste, no waste materials must be discarded, and all materials that are used in the process must be recovered and reused after the consumer’s use.
