Eco Benefits of the Materials
- Manufacturing fabric made of organic cotton uses less energy, significantly less water, and releases fewer greenhouse gases than traditional cotton.
- Using less water also preserves soil quality.
- Organic cotton also uses little to no chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides to produce. This helps protect local habitats and even the farmers who grow it.
Process
PureFabricz incorporates sustainability into its operations as well by using green energy, recycling its waste, reusing its packing, and using recycled paper.
Story
Pure Fabricz was created when its founder, Monique Zoon, realized that there was a lack of organic cotton available in the Netherlands, or even Europe. So, in 2009, she set out to find organic fabrics and discovered a company called Harmony Art, which was looking to arrange the distribution of organic cotton fabrics in Europe. This was the start of Pure Fabricz’ journey to help change the world of cotton.
