- The company has tried natural (vegetable) dyes but have encountered problems such as fading. Instead, they use low impact chemical dyes.
Story
Organic Textile Company was formed in 2005 when its founders realized the damage that the regular cotton industry does to the environment due to its reliance on pesticides. This problem was especially worse in developing countries.
