OK Biobased Certification (TUV)
OK biobased certification (TUV) represents that the products have been tested and verified to contain a specified percentage of renewable biological content. The products can be certified as one-star-bio-based (between 20% to 40% biobased), two-star-bio-based (between 40%to 60% biobased), three-star-bio-based (between 60% to 80% biobased), or four-star-bio-based (more than 80% biobased).
The certification is awarded by the certification body TÜV Austria and is recognized by the European Bioplastics Association.
